Tree Removal in Brisbane
Tree removal, done without taking the fence with it
Some trees have to come out. When one does, the question is not whether it can be dropped, it is what is standing underneath it.

Removals in real Brisbane blocks
Very few trees around Brisbane have a clear paddock to fall into. There is a house on one side, a fence on the other, a pool, a shed, and the neighbour's place a few metres away. So most of our removals never touch the ground in one piece.
We climb it or get a lift to it, take it down in sections, and rope each piece to a controlled landing. It is slower than dropping a tree, and it is the reason your driveway looks the same at the end of the day as it did at the start.
What we take out
- Large gums, figs, poincianas, camphor laurels and jacarandas
- Palms, including cleaning and full removal
- Storm damaged and partly failed trees that are still under load
- Trees over powerlines, pools, roofs and boundary fences
- Dead, hollow and termite affected trunks that cannot be climbed safely
- Full site clears for builders and developers
Before you take a tree out
We will tell you if it does not need to go. A tree that has dropped a limb is not automatically a dangerous tree, and a tree that looks perfectly healthy can be the one that fails. Knowing the difference is what the qualification is for, and the assessment is free as part of the quote.
Worth knowing: many trees in Brisbane and Ipswich are protected, and a lot of removals need council approval before any work starts. Because the team is AQF Level 5 qualified, we can also provide the arborist report council asks for. We will tell you exactly where you stand before you commit to anything.
Dangerous trees and storm damage
If a tree is on your roof or across your driveway after a storm, call rather than email. Do not go near it, do not put a ladder on it, and stay well away if there is any wire involved. A limb under load stores a surprising amount of energy and releases it in directions people do not expect.

Questions
Asked and answered
If yours is not here, give us a call. We would rather talk it through than have you guessing.
How much does tree removal cost in Brisbane?
It depends on the size, the species, and mostly on what is underneath it. A small tree with clear access is a very different job to a 20 metre gum roped down over a pool. We look at it and give you a fixed written price, so there are no surprises once the work starts.
Do I need council approval to remove a tree?
Often, yes. Brisbane City Council and Ipswich City Council both protect certain trees and vegetation, and the rules differ across the region. Because we are AQF Level 5 qualified, we can assess it and, where one is needed, provide the arborist report that supports the application.
Can you get to a tree in my back yard?
Almost always. If we cannot get machinery in, we climb. Tight access is standard work for a qualified climbing team and it does not stop a job, though it does change the method.
Do you remove storm damaged and dangerous trees quickly?
Yes. Storm damage and dangerous trees are a priority. Call rather than email so we can get to it fast, and keep well clear of the tree in the meantime.
